Project: Tourism

Having looked through a large amount of my own picture stock, I realized that tourism and tourists have always preoccupied me, perhaps I so often was one myself, in the widest sense possible. As a result, I decided to start a project documenting this phenomenon in a more coherent way, which not only allows me to assemble pictures from past times with new shots but also to show how timeless tourists are. And perhaps how similar we all are, in our behaviors – sometimes lost, searching for clues, looking around to see things that we ought to see because we paid to get there.
